Whether you need someone to lead a team meeting or facilitate difficult individual staff and small team discussions, I am comfortable in any situation and always eager to support new perspectives.

My background

I started my career in non-profit program development and management and was encouraged to transition into human resources by my organization's executive director. Over fifteen years later, I have managed nearly every aspect of HR. 


While I've worked in multiple sectors, my passion is helping non-profits, arts organizations, and small businesses meet their complex needs. I am familiar with the nuances of multiple arts union contracts including AEA, SAG/AFTRA, SDC, and DC 37; the type of 1-on-1 support smaller organizations pride themselves on providing to employees; and the delicate balance required of practitioners.

Whether you need help creating policies and handbooks from the ground up or would like to review your current policies, I'm here to help. I have experience addressing multi-state organizations and have worked with small businesses of fewer than five full-time employees to 350+ employee organizations with union and non-union staff.  While you should always have new and significantly revised handbooks reviewed by legal counsel before roll-out, I can save you the time of creating or reviewing the documents.

The last few years have challenged all of us with how we think of a workplace. As someone who has worked remotely across time zones for over a decade, I have lots of first-hand experience in how to balance fully remote and hybrid environments to ensure employees feel engaged and part of a team, regardless of location.
